The Department of Business Administration Organizes a Scientific Visit to Khoshnaw Company

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit to Khoshnaw Company for a group of third- and fourth-year students. The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir. Upon their arrival, the students were warmly received by the company’s Director, Mr. Ahmed Saman Salah.

During the visit, Mr. Ahmed Saman Salah explained that Canadian and Aspindar wood are used to make Wood Wool. He mentioned that the wood is purchased either in Kurdistan or Turkey and processed using special equipment. He also noted that when trees are cut down, the waste is repurposed for other uses. Furthermore, he pointed out that the company produces several sizes, ranging from 2500 to 4500, with 2500 and 4500 being the most popular in Kurdistan.

At the end of the visit, the students had the opportunity to ask questions about how the product is manufactured and distributed to the market. The visit also helped them bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical learning.
