The Department of Community Health Nursing Advances to the Mini Football Championship Final at Cihan University-Erbil

On Monday, February 3, 2025, Cihan University-Erbil Stadium hosted two thrilling matches as part of the Mini Football Championship, which brings together teams from various scientific departments at the university. The tournament is organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

After the third-round match, in which the Media Department emerged victorious, the first match of the fourth round featured the Community Health Nursing Department against the Anesthesia Techniques Department. The match concluded with a commanding 3-0 victory for the Community Health Nursing team, securing them a spot in the final.

The Mini Football Championship is an annual event organized by Cihan University-Erbil under the supervision of Dr. Zhian Jamal, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The tournament aims to promote sports participation among students from different departments, fostering both athletic skill development and social interaction within the university community.
