The Department of Law Organized a Seminar for Students at Hiwa School for Boys

On February 7, 2024, several students from Cihan University’s Department of Law were received by the administration of Hiwa School. Their purpose was to deliver a lecture to the school’s students on psychotropic substances and their adverse impact on individuals and society, considering both the social and health aspects.

 The lecture also covered the legal measures in place to regulate individuals involved in the treatment and abuse of these substances in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It further addressed the penalties prescribed for anyone who engages in the use and dealing of such substances.
