THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT FOR ITS SECOND-STAGE STUDENTS

On March 1, 2023, the Department of Media organized a scientific visit to Helen Radio for second-stage students under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer, Mr. Woahyar Muhammad Amin Mustafa.

During the visit, Assistant Lecturer, Mr. Woahyar Muhammad Amin Mustafa and second-stage students were welcomed by Ms. Shaima Mustafa, the Director of Helen Radio. She talked about the history, establishment of Helen Radio, and the goals it seeks to achieve.  She also talked about the production of radio programs and how the radio works. Later, the students visited the artistic, technical department ,and the radio studio.

Students were then asked to participate in the presentation and preparation of several radio reports. During the visit, the students received more practical information related to radio work, especially sound effects and how different sound effects are used in radio programs.

At the end of the visit, Helen Radio staff gave students the opportunity to ask questions                                 regarding the technical aspects of radio.
