The Department of Media Students Participated in Volunteer Work During Financial Inclusion Week in Baghdad

Students from the Department of Media at Cihan University – Erbil participated in voluntary work during the celebration of Financial Inclusion Week in Baghdad, organized by the Central Bank of Iraq from April 27 to May 2, 2024. The event aimed to encourage savings and promote banking culture among members of society.

Lawin Najat Ali and Ghazi Faisal Abdul Hadi, second-year students, were among the participants in the activities of Financial Inclusion Week held in Baghdad. The two students created an awareness video emphasizing the importance of using electronic payment cards and having bank accounts for savings and loans.

It’s worth noting that the students created this video voluntarily to contribute to raising awareness in the community. The video was well-received by attendees, particularly because it was entirely conceived, filmed, and edited by the students themselves, showcasing their personal media efforts and their eagerness to contribute to the media landscape with their own ideas and perspectives on important events and activities benefiting all sectors of society.

At the end of the event, the students were presented with a shield of appreciation for their active participation in Financial Inclusion Week, acknowledging their efforts and presence.
