The Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies Visited Erbil International Hospital

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, a group of third-year students from the Department of Radiological Imaging Technologies at Cihan University–Erbil visited Erbil International Hospital under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Navid Abdulkarimi.

Upon their arrival, the students were received by Gulala Abdulwahid in the hospital’s radiology department. She provided a detailed explanation of how the X-ray machine operates and then conducted practical training on various patient positioning methods before imaging, ensuring the acquisition of precise and clear images.

During another segment of the visit, the students engaged in practical work with real cases in the radiology department. They participated in preparing patients for imaging and performing practical procedures.

At the end of the visit, Assistant Lecturer Navid Abdulkarimi expressed his gratitude to Gulala Abdulwahid for her warm reception and her assistance, which significantly enhanced the students’ knowledge of radiology procedures and patient preparation for disease diagnosis.
