Cihan University-Erbil Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Gets Indexed by Directory of Open Access Journals
Cihan University-Erbil pleased to announce that Cihan University-Erbil Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (ISSN 2707-6342) has been accepted for indexing in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).By this membership and inclusion, the Cihan University-Erbil Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (CUEJHSS) became officially an open access (OA) journal under the License 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
The DOAJ database lists more than 10,000 Open Access journals in all subject areas, and its aim is to increase the visibility and readability of open access scientific and scholarly journals in order to increase their usage and impact. While the problem of predatory publishers and journals is increasing, the DOAJ is working as quality control system or a ‘white list’ reference of high quality open access journals, and adherence to international standards for publishers.
