The main activities of the Department of Health Community – Cihan University- Erbil for the academic year 2018-2019

The Department of Health Community conducted a variety of activities with the participation of students, professors and members of the department during the academic year 2018-2019 and the most prominent as follows:

 

1- Student Activities:

 

 

• The Department of Health organized a (2) scientific visit to the Department of General Surgery Erbil International Book Fair for students of the first stage.
• The students participated in the first phase of the Community Health Department in coordination with the Health Education Center on 20/6/2019 and the Academic Hall of Ceyhan in a training course on the skills of the student.
• Students participated in the first stage in the Department of Community Health in 2019 and the Academic Hall of Cihan University in a training course on (first aid).

 

 

2 – Activities of the Staffs and members of the department:

 

• On 30^th /4 and 1^st /5/2019 Staffs of the physiotherapy department participated in the international conference of the Cihan University-Erbil and the Hull University of Biomedical Sciences and Health Sciences (BIOHS’19) at Cihan University

 

• On 1^st, May 2019, the department’s staffs participated in the workshop on “Infection Control in Hospitals” held at the Cihan University-Erbil in cooperation with the University of Hewler Medical.

 

• On 1^st, May 2019 the staffs participated in the workshop on “The Psychological Situation of University Students”. The conference was held at the Cihan University-Erbil in cooperation with the University of Hewler Medical, which included the activities of the scientific conference.

 

• -On 2^nd/5/2019, the faculty participated in the workshop on “Scientific Writing Skills for Biomedical and Environmental Scientists”. The conference was held at the Cihan University-Erbil, in cooperation with Plymouth University, within the framework of the scientific conference.
