The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region congratulated Cihan University-Erbil
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region congratulated Cihan University-Erbil for being ranked as the first among the public and private universities in Iraq and in the Kurdistan Region in the latest classification from the website :(World Scientist and University Ranking-AD Scientific Index).
In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region sent an official letter No. (5228) and dated (3/27/2023) signed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein, Head of the Supervision and Quality Assurance Authority in the Ministry, to the office of Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi, The President of Cihan University – Erbil in which Dr. Muhammad thanks and congratulates Cihan University – Erbil for being ranked as the first in the (World Scientist and University Ranking-AD Scientific Index website.
The following was stated in the official book “In the latest report of (AD Scientific Index), Cihan University – Erbil is ranked as the first among Iraqi universities and Kurdistan universities in terms of (Citation) and (h-index). On this occasion, we extend our congratulations and thanks to your university.”
The official book expressed the hope of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research that Cihan University – Erbil will continue its academic and scientific activities, and achieve higher ranks in the near future in all approved international classifications and continue its effectiveness to promote higher education and scientific research in the Kurdistan Region.
In the latest classification from the (World Scientist and University Ranking-AD Scientific Index), which ranked (20,506) universities and colleges, and (1,343,071) scientists in (217) countries in the world. Based on the use of several criteria for evaluating higher education institutions and faculty members; It includes evaluating the level of competence of faculty members at the university, and the extent to which universities are able to produce scientific and provide effective influential research especially in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
