The Participation of Cihan University-Erbil Instructor in a Scientific Training Course in the People’s Republic of China
As part of the ongoing program to send academic and administrative staff to the People’s Republic of China, and under the supervision and support of the President of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities, in coordination with the presidency of Cihan University-Erbil, another instructor is currently participating in a training course in China aimed at enhancing his scientific and academic competencies.
Following an official invitation from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in the Kurdistan Region, Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Jawdat Ahmed, from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis at Cihan University-Erbil, is attending the training course. The program, organized by the National Center for Bamboo Research (CRBC), will last for two weeks across the cities of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province, and Nanping and Lishui in Fujian Province.
The training course brings together participants from nine countries and focuses on the history of the People’s Republic of China as well as its national development strategies in areas such as research, education, higher education, agriculture, economy, and the environment. During the program, participants will also visit research institutes, planning centers, development companies, and tourist sites in China.
As part of the training course activities, Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Jawdat Ahmed delivered two seminars. The first, titled The Kurdistan Region and the Role of Cihan Group Companies in the Development of the Economic Process and Future Plans, highlighted economic perspectives. The second, Introducing the Development Process of the Kurdistan Region and the Role of Universities in the Past Three Decades, emphasized the academic contributions of the region.
In his remarks, Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Jawdat Ahmed expressed his gratitude to the presidency of Cihan University-Erbil and to the President of the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities for their continuous support and encouragement in advancing the academic and scientific capabilities of the university’s faculty members and researchers.
