The performance of a virtual court as a reflection of the facts of a drug use and trafficking case
A group of first-stage students, with the help of third-year students, conducted a virtual trial hearing with the supervision of the teaching staff Assistant Lecturer Shaubo Saad Aziz and the presence of the professors of the Law Department and students of the first and second phase of the department on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021.
This group reflected the facts of the case of using and trafficking of drugs in the case of two defendants; one of which was sentenced to temporary imprisonment and a fine for drug trafficking and the second one was sentenced to simple imprisonment for using drugs.
The main objective of this display was to practically understand the educational material in the course of the investigation and trial, hearing witnesses, hearing the facts and the court’s decision.
