The President of Cihan University-Erbil meets with students taking part in a summer course in Poland
During the meeting with the students participating in the summer course in Poland, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, expressed the university’s commitment to enhancing the knowledge and experience of its students by sending them to advanced universities, particularly in Poland. He emphasized that this practice will continue in the future as well.
On July 16th, 2023, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, accompanied by Dr. Hawkar Qasim Birdawod, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, met with the students and supervising lecturers attending the summer course at Lodz University in Poland.
The President of Cihan University-Erbil warmly welcomed the students and lecturers, commending their active participation. He expressed gratitude for their efforts in showcasing the university’s culture, academic standards, and overall image to students from other universities and the host country.
Dr. Saber also discussed the future plans, initiatives, and projects of Cihan University-Erbil. He announced the intention to send another group of students and lecturers to the University of Warsaw in Poland. Additionally, he mentioned the university’s plan to organize intensive and collaborative courses with the University of Lodz in Poland. These initiatives aim to further enhance the academic opportunities and collaborations between the two institutions.
From June 25th, 2023, to July 7th, 2023, a group of students of Cihan University-Erbil actively participated in an intensive summer course at the University of Lodz in Poland. Throughout the course, experts and lecturers delivered various topics related to the environment and climate change, exploring their impacts across different fields. The discussions also focused on different strategies and approaches to address environmental pollution and promote sustainable practices. In addition, lecturers from Cihan University-Erbil contributed by presenting two topics to the students, while the students from Cihan University-Erbil actively engaged by sharing their comments, questions, and opinions on the different subject
