The president of Cihan University -Erbil, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, commences a scientific collaboration with Sophia University in Japan.
As part of his ongoing meetings with the top universities in the world, Professor Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi, the president of Cihan University-Erbil, and Professor Dr. Yoshiaki Terumichi, the president of Sophia University in Japan, held a critical meeting on Monday.
It was decided that the delegations of the two universities will visit separately in the near future for the purpose of establishing scientific and academic relations between them. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Conference of Universities in Qatar, and the presidents of Cihan University-Erbil and Sophia University talked about organizing scientific activities like international conferences, conducting joint research, and benefiting from each other’s experience through student and staff exchanges. To prepare for the signing of a joint agreement and the commencement of joint work, they talked about the specifics of their important and collaborative work together.
Additionally, it is decided that the International Association of Universities (IAU) will host the International Conference of Universities at Sophia University in Japan the following year. Cihan University -Erbil will participate as a member of the association, as well as members and association presidents.
