118th Kurdish journalism anniversary
On 24 April 2016 Cihan University-Erbil celebrated the 118th Kurdish journalism anniversary.
For that occasion, the department of media at the University hosted the Kurdish famous writer and journalist Mr. Jamal Khaznadar.
Mr. Khaznadar presented a seminar about the first Kurdish newspaper (Kurdistan) which released in Egypt in 1898 and the history of Kurdish press after that.
The valuable seminar was ended with an open discussion between Mr. Khaznadar and the attendance.
