A delegation from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University visits Cihan University-Erbil

The President of Cihan University-Erbil received a delegation from Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in order to implement the points of the joint agreement between them, reinforce further coordination and develop academic relations between the two universities.

On Monday, October 24th, 2022, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil welcomed a delegation of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University led by Professor Dr. Muthaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi.

    In the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Abdul Sttar Karim, vice president for Administrative and Student Affairs and Dr. Maysoon Al-Haideri, vice president for Academic Affairs, it was discussed how to put the joint agreement between the universities into practice. The agreement had been signed in early March of 2022.

     In another part of the meeting, the latest efforts of the preparatory committee for the engineering scientific conference, which is scheduled to be held in December 2022, was discussed. To this purpose, the representatives of both universities indicated their accomplished activities. They also discussed the received researches to the science committee of the conference.

     Prof. Dr. Amjad, the president of Cihan University-Erbil said: “We are pleased to sign a memorandum of academic cooperation with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. Holding the Conference together will open the way for future cooperation. Then, he appreciated the conference organizer for their attempts for working on conference program.
Later, Prof. Dr. Muthaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, president of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, stated that they are also contented with this joint agreement between universities. He asserted that their university strongly support fostering relations between the universities.
