A delegation from Cihan University-Erbil visit the College of Pharmacy, Hawler Medical University

Within the scope of establishing and expanding academic relations with various universities and colleges at the local and international levels, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil, accompanied by Dr. Maysoon Al-Haideri, vice president for Scientific Affairs and Dr. Abdul sttar Karim, vice president for Administrative and Students Affairs visited the College of Pharmacy, Hawler Medical University.

On Sunday, November 20, 2022, the delegation of Cihan University-Erbil was warmly received by Assistant Professor Dr. Hunar Kamal Gardi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy. Then, Prof. Dr. Amjad expressed his congratulations to Dr. Hunar who was appointed as the new dean of the College of Pharmacy in Hawler Medical University. In return, the new dean of the college of Pharmacy welcomed the President of Cihan University-Erbil and his accompanying delegation and hoped that the visit would become a solid foundation for relations between the two universities, especially with the College of Pharmacy of Cihan University-Erbil.

In another part of the meeting, both sides stressed the need for coordination and cooperation between them in order to further develop and improve the scientific level and the role of pharmacists. In this regard, a number of proposals were discussed such as benefiting from each other’s academic staff, conducting joint research, and organizing joint seminars and conferences with the College of Pharmacy of Cihan University-Erbil.
