A Graduate of Cihan University-Erbil Won the Rwanga Awards 2022
Ali Sami Seda, a graduate of Informatics and Software Engineering from Cihan University-Erbil, won the Rwanga Awards 2022.
The award ceremony kicked off this evening (November 25, 2022) at the Saad Abdullah Hall in Erbil. Rwanga Foundation announced the names of the first three winners of this annual competition for the year 2022.
Ali Sami Seda participated in this competition under the supervision of Mr. Adel Hussein Mohamed, Head of the Informatics and Software Engineering Department.
This student’s project titled ‘‘Vine Finder’’ has a great benefit in helping nurses and hospitals to draw blood accurately and avoid cases of internal bleeding.
The Rwanga Awards 2022 categories included solo musician, programming, drawing, photography, poetry, Arabic poetry, scientific innovation, recycled art, and entrepreneurship. A total of 863 participants presented their products to Rwanga Foundation this year. Among all participants from 10 different governorates and cities in Iraq and the Kurdistan region, 36 of them were qualified for the final round. Rwanga Foundation is a non-governmental organization that seeks to develop youth skills, discover their potential, enhance their self-confidence, and activate their artistic, literary, and scientific skills.
