On 23-24 November 2022 (Wednesday and Thursday), under the supervision of Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Delawi, the president of Cihan University-Erbil, the Department of Business Administration held a workshop in the presence of a number of representatives from different commercial companies, a number of lecturers and students of the Department Business Administration and other departments.
The first part of the workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Mr. Azwar Mahdi Saleh, which included a detailed “Introduction to Strategic Business Planning” and how to develop strategic plans in the field of marketing that ensures obtaining the highest market share levels and the highest profit rates.
While the second part of the workshop was presented by the lecturer, Ms. Sahar Jalal Fattah, which included a detailed “The Different Models of Marketing”, in which she explained a detailed explanation of modern and old marketing models and a comparison between them. In addition to focusing on new models, including pink marketing, digital marketing, and content marketing.
The third part of the workshop was entitled “Applied Planning and Business Development”. It was presented by the Business development manager at Al-Yasra Foods Company, Mr. Rashid Hatahit; he illustrated the best methods to build successful planning which will help to increase the speed of development in the company.
While the fourth part of the workshop was entitled “Strategic Management of Retail Stores”, which was presented by the General Manager of Majidi Hypermarket, Mr. Faiyaz Ibrahim, in which he talked about the strategic management that Majidi Hypermarket uses which aims to obtain a competitive advantage that guarantees continuous survival in the market for products.
The last part was entitled “Challenges and Opportunities for Implementing E-Commerce for Business”. This part was presented by Mr. Awara Rasool, the e-commerce business developer at Al-Jibal Electronics Company. He spoke about the different business organizations in general and technological companies, especially which will assist to gain the highest market share.
