A Medical Event Organized by the Biomedical Sciences Department at Grand Majidi Mall, Erbil on the Occasion of World Diabetes Day
On November 14, 2023 (Tuesday), the second-stage Biomedical Sciences Department students of Cihan University-Erbil organized a medical event at Grand Majidi Mall, Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturers Hero Ismail and Dr. Sarah Mohammed on the occasion of World Diabetes Day.
In collaboration with the Grand Majidi Mall administration, the event aimed to educate and offer crucial health screenings to the public in an effort to raise awareness about diabetes and promote health consciousness.
On this day, the public had the opportunity to undergo a series of tests essential for diabetes and overall health management. The focal point of this event was to provide multiple screenings, including blood pressure, blood sugar levels, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), lipid profile tests, and body composition analysis, in conjunction with the Diet Nutrition Center.
