4 October 2022 (Tuesday) – A group of second-year students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, under the supervision of Assistant Prof. Yassin Galali, prepared a variety of healthy foods as part of the scientific activity.
During the preparation of the dishes, the students made two different types of shafts, fried them, evaluated their nutritional value, and prepared a special dessert from different ingredients. For this purpose, the students prepared several types of salads and emphasized the importance of eating them together with any other daily meals to help lose weight.
About the sweets, the students made healthy sweets from ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, milk, and oats that help weight gainers and athletes.
The ways in which the students prepared the food and sweets are very important in improving the health of those who want to gain or lose weight.
The activity was also evaluated by Assistant Prof. Yassin Galali in terms of safety, health, and nutritional value. The ways to improve the nutritional value of their use were also discussed.
