A Scientific Visit by the Department of Biomedical Sciences to Nobel Laboratory

On 24 February 2022, the Biomedical Sciences Department of Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit to Nobel Laboratory in Erbil. This visit which involved the third-year students from the aforementioned department was held to give them the opportunity to learn and to apply the important knowledge and skills that they need for their future careers.

These objectives of the visit were achieved through the hands-on experience offered for these students during the visit under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Mr. Shahrokh Hussein. This included the students taking turns dealing with the patients, drawing their blood, having direct access to the diagnostic tools, and conducting a number of diagnostic tests in the laboratory.

The visit was meaningful to the students, as it increased their understanding of the various advanced diagnostic equipment and methods to carry out a series of diagnostic tests with the patients professionally.
