A student from Cihan University-Erbil gets first place in Iraq Women’s Weightlifting Championship

In connection with the competitions that were held in Baghdad and set up by the Iraqi Weightlifting Federation and in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports / the National Center for Sports Talent, the Iraq Championship for Clubs and Open Institutions for Women was organized.

 Osheen Mohsen Aziz, a fourth-year student in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University-Erbil, won the first place in the Iraq Weightlifting Championship for women weighing (63) kg in two competitions: snatch (65) kg and jerk (75) kg.

 It is important to be mentioned that the championship was held in Baghdad from November 4-5, 2021.
