A Student of Cihan University-Erbil Participates in a Medical Activity in Germany
On Sunday (3/11/2024), Hajar Kanan, a student of the Physiotherapy Department of Cihan University-Erbil participated in a medical activity entitled (Back Pain: This Will Make Your Back Fit Again) at the Charite University Hospital. This university hospital is one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe.
Hajar Kanan is currently passing a course at the Warsaw University of Life Science in Poland, due to implanting an MoU between this university and Cihan University-Erbil. She visited Germany to participate in the scientific activity as part of his course. Through his visit, she met Professor Dr. Med Anetta Reibhauer the head of the Department of Medical Physics, and specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Charite University Hospital. They discussed the cooperation in the field of physiotherapy.
Charity University Hospital, founded in 1710, is one of the world’s leading medical institutions. It has a high-level educational and scientific staff, and most of its professors and medical experts have won the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
During his trip to Germany, Hajar visited the Futurium Museum and learned about the most recent medical technologies including the application of artificial intelligence in diagnosing and printing three-dimensional organs, and Robotic Surgery systems. In addition, the latest sustainable development tools that serve important issues such as climate change and the environment, the role of the environment in health, and sustainable technologies in healthcare are exhibited.
