Accounting Department Conducts Scientific Visit to Nawzad NIT Group

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, the Accounting Department at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific visit for fourth-year accounting students to Nawzad NIT Group for Industry and Commerce, under the supervision of Lecturer Rebin Bilal Mohammed.

The students were warmly received by Mr. Ahmed Nawzad Mohammed, a member of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Wisam Kanhan, Accounting Manager. During the visit, the company’s representatives provided a comprehensive overview of the organizational structure and accounting systems. The presentation focused on the procurement of raw materials, production processes, inventory management, and sales operations related to aluminum and architectural glass products.

In addition, the students were introduced to the flow of accounting documents and the integration between operational departments and the accounting department. Special attention was given to inventory control procedures, including the receiving and storage of materials, issuing items to production and installation projects, and recording inventory movements within the accounting system.

The representatives also explained the role of accounting in cost control, pricing decisions, financial reporting, and internal control, emphasizing the importance of accurate documentation in industrial and commercial environments.

At the end of the visit, Lecturer Rebin Bilal Mohammed expressed his sincere appreciation to the management of Nawzad NIT Group for their warm hospitality and valuable explanations. He highlighted the importance of such scientific visits in enhancing students’ practical skills and strengthening collaboration between the university and the industrial sector.
