As health inspectors, Community Health students visit some restaurants, food markets and ovens in Erbil

On 18/12/2021, the third stage students in the Department of Community Health, Cihan University-Erbil made a field tour in the markets in Erbil. They visited some restaurants, food markets, bakeries, butcher shops and selling meat.

 In order to get acquainted with the duties imposed on Community Health students if they work as health inspectors, this field tour was arranged for students. This activity was under the supervision of the assistant lecturer Ayad Abdullah Rashid and Assistant lecturer Aram Muhammad Barra.

After this visiting, the students were able to learn about what methods used in health prevention, how the inspection committees work, how to detect contamination in foodstuffs, and what methods of sampling should be used to detect any health contamination in places where food is served to the consumer.
