Audio-Visual Translation
Asst. Lecturer Fereydoon Rasouli presented a seminar entitled “Audio-Visual Translation” in the first day of a two day’s workshop, on December 19th, 2017. The teaching staff of Translation Department, English Department and Media Department and the students of both Translation and Media Department attended the seminar.
He discussed that AVT describes the process of translating TV shows and Film. Subtitling and dubbing are two well-known ways of AVT. Their applications vary from one country to another.
