Awareness And Practice on Biomedical Waste Management Project

In collaboration with Pekawa humanitarian and environmental development organization, the College of Health technology of Cihan University-Erbil’s Students and Academic members provided Assistant in Medical Waste Project, as its one of UNICEF programs to support Iraqi Cities.

Many clinks from different Iraqi cities, and villages received Awareness on how to deal with bio-medical waste and short training on how to handle it with

1. Making sure the country’s urban centres can safely and effectively handle the treatment of medical waste during the pandemic is a key part of efforts to control the spread of the virus and its impact on the nation and its people
2. Help Hospitals on how to manage medical waste during the Covid-19 pandemic, and Developing monitoring capacity.

The project starts by 14. February. 2021, by singing a MOU with Pekawa Humanitarian And Environmental Development Organization.
