Awat Institute Honors Cihan University-Erbil for Social Responsibility Initiatives
In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, the staff of Awat Institute for Special Needs Children, led by their manager, Mr. Abdelwahab Jameel, visited the Computer Science Department at Cihan University-Erbil. The visit, held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, was attended by the Vice President of Cihan University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulsatar Karim, to honor the faculty and students for their commitment to community service.
Dr. Khalid Fadhil, Head of the Computer Science Department, received the guests and highlighted the importance of volunteerism in shaping compassionate professionals. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed the department’s dedication to social responsibility.
As a token of appreciation, Mr. Abdelwahab Jameel presented certificates of recognition to Dr. Khalid Fadhil, Assistant Lecturer Sarah Jamal Hussein, and the second-year students for their meaningful contributions.
