Biomedical Sciences Department Students Celebrate International Children’s Day with Community Outreach Activity

As part of the celebrations marking International Children’s Day, students from the Biomedical Sciences Department at Cihan University – Erbil organized a meaningful community outreach activity on Monday, June 1, 2026, under the supervision of A.L. Hero Ismael Mohammed to bring happiness and encouragement to children in Erbil.

The activity was carried out by Mihraban Sdeeq Rahman, a third-stage student, and Mina Mazin Nabe, a fourth-stage student, who dedicated their time and effort to celebrating this special occasion with children in public areas across the city. The activity took place at Glkand Park and along 30 Meter Street, where the students interacted directly with children and their families.

During the event, the students distributed sweets and gifts to children, creating a joyful atmosphere and encouraging positive social engagement. The activity was designed to recognize the importance of children in society and to promote the values of kindness, compassion, and community support. Through friendly conversations and interactions, the students made the children feel valued and appreciated while contributing to the festive spirit of International Children’s Day.
