Cihan University-Erbil and its researchers become the first among public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq

In the newest version of  the Website  “the  World Scientist and University Ranking-AD Scientific Index” which is  published in March, Cihan University-Erbil and  the university scientists won the first rank among public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

In this new version, the World Scientist and University Ranking-AD Scientific Index, evaluated 20,506 universities and institutes, and 1,343,071 scientists from 217 countries around the world. The criteria for evaluation higher education institutions and academic staff was based on the level of academic staff and their ability to extend knowledge in university, and conducting effective researches.

The website, after thorough analysis of universities data, revealed that Cihan University-Erbil has made significant progress at world level. Owing to having qualified staff and the efforts of professor Said Mohammad Sajadi, who has recorded the highest index level, Cihan University-Erbil and its scientists record the first place in this analysis of the new ranking among other governmental and private universities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
