Championship of the Central Federation of Physical Strength at Cihan University- Erbil

The Central Union of Physical Strength organized the “Kurdistan Region Championship for men and women” over two days, Friday 3/3/2023, and Saturday 3/4/2023 and on the grounds of the closed hall of Cihan University- Erbil.

Then championship was organized under the supervision of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Cihan University-Erbil, the university hosted this tournament for the second time, with the participation of players representing different weights from Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk governorates.

In conclusion, medals and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the winners by the representative of the university, Dr. Zian Jamal, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, It is noteworthy that the President of the Physical Strength Union presented the championship shield to the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi for facilitating the task of holding the championship and to appreciate his efforts and his contribution to the development of the game through his permanent cooperation to establish tournaments on the grounds of Cihan University.
