Cihan University-Erbil and Qatar University Progress in Formalizing Collaboration Agreement

Continuing his series of academic engagements, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, conducted a further meeting with Dr. Omar Mohamed Al-Ansari, President of Qatar University. During the meeting, the President of Cihan University-Erbil highlighted the multifaceted progress of his institution, extending an invitation to the President of Qatar University to visit the Kurdistan Region and Cihan University-Erbil, aiming to deepen their academic ties.

     Among the meeting’s focal points was a discussion on coordinating and enhancing academic cooperation between the two universities. The dialogue covered areas such as student and faculty exchanges, collaborative conferences, seminars, scientific meetings, joint research initiatives, and various other scientific subjects, with the exchange of diverse perspectives.

     Concluding the meeting, the Presidents of Cihan University-Erbil and Qatar University reached an agreement to formalize their academic relations through a joint agreement. This document will outline the roadmap for their collaborative efforts, covering areas of mutual interest. Further deliberations on the draft agreement are scheduled in the upcoming days.
