Cihan University-Erbil Announces an Exclusive International Study Opportunity in Poland
As part of its international academic exchange programs, the Presidency of Cihan University-Erbil is pleased to announce a premier opportunity for interested students to pursue a full academic semester (a five-month course) at prestigious universities in Poland.
This opportunity is specifically for the Winter Semester. Selected students will complete the first semester of the upcoming academic year at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in Poland instead of Cihan University-Erbil. The semester is scheduled to commence in October 2026 and conclude in February 2027. This program offers a unique platform for students to engage with European educational systems and enhance their scientific knowledge and linguistic proficiency within an international environment.
Application and Selection Process: Interested students are encouraged to visit their respective department heads as soon as possible for registration. Following the registration phase, candidates will undergo a “Scientific Interview.” Final selection will be strictly based on academic merit and interview performance.
The mobilization of students to the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) is organized under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions to strengthen scientific ties. This initiative follows the successful dispatch of several student cohorts by Cihan University-Erbil to SGGW over the past years.
