Cihan University – Erbil Conducts a Comprehensive Annual Training Program to Enhance the Efficiency of Al-Yasra Food Company Employees
Cihan University – Erbil has launched a broad specialized training program that focuses on developing the professional and leadership skills of the human resources staff at Al-Yasra Food Company.
This qualitative step is the result of joint coordination between the Departments of Media and Business Administration at the university following the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at providing an integrated series of intensive training courses for the company’s managers, supervisors, and employees throughout the entire year in an effort to integrate modern scientific curricula with realistic field expertise and raise the level of job performance in line with contemporary market requirements.
On Monday, May 11, 2026, The session commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Hawkar Qasim Birdawood, who greeted the participants and shared an insightful introduction to the university. He further outlined the course itinerary and the program highlights for the upcoming days, setting a professional and inspiring tone for the duration of the training, the first training course, titled Modern Sales Management and Effective Leadership, was presented by Assistant Lecturer Azwar Mahdi Qassim Agha, Head of the Media Department at Cihan University – Erbil. It included in-depth interactive discussions focusing on strategic planning and foundations, alongside the mechanisms of persuasive communication arts designed to empower staff with direct influence tools in a competitive work environment.
Held for three consecutive days, the program covered vital topics related to operations, the relationship between engineering and scientific methods to enhance institutional loyalty, and big data analysis. These topics were delivered by Prof. Dr. Hawkar Qassim Birdawod, Head of the Business Administration Department, aimed at developing the participants’ abilities to accurately interpret market indicators and make successful administrative decisions.
The training program concluded with modules on qualitative evaluation, motivation, and the role of management in sustainable employee follow-up, presented by Dr. Aram Hanna Massoudi to ensure the continuity of development and productivity within the organization.
