Cihan University-Erbil Forges Strong Ties with Tehran University of Medical Sciences

In its pursuit of expanding scientific collaborations with esteemed global institutions, Cihan University-Erbil is taking significant steps in the realm of medicine to establish robust connections with Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

     In this regard, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil, warmly received Prof.Dr. Kurosh Jafarian, an expert in Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition and the Dean of the International College at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. During their meeting, they emphasized the paramount importance of coordination and scientific cooperation between these institutions, with a shared goal of harnessing each other’s expertise to advance the field of science.

     The President of Cihan University-Erbil, after extending a warm welcome, provided an overview of the university and its medical and health departments. He highlighted the construction of a private teaching hospital, a significant endeavor for the only private university in the Kurdistan Region. He expressed the university’s strong desire to establish a collaborative agreement, setting the path for future cooperation. Additionally, an invitation was extended to Tehran University of Medical Sciences to partake in the International Scientific Conference at Cihan University-Erbil, focusing on biomedical and health sciences, scheduled for February next year.
