Cihan University-Erbil participates in the 4th Scientific Conference hosted by the College of Medicine

The 4th International Scientific Conference of the College of Medicine- Hawler Medical University, in collaboration with the Royal British University, commenced with the inauguration ceremony graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil

     This scientific event, held at the Rotana Hotel in Erbil, is sponsored by Cihan University-Erbil and officially commenced on January 11, 2024. The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Saman Barzanji, the Minister of Health, Dr. Dara Rashid, the Minister of Planning, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajger, Chairman Of board of the trustees Cihan Universities, as well as a substantial number of university presidents, researchers, and local and international experts. The inaugural session included a series of speeches followed by presentations of various scientific papers.

     In addition to the core conference proceedings, a special exhibition of universities was unveiled on the sidelines, inaugurated by Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir. Cihan University-Erbil actively participated in this exhibition, showcasing its noteworthy contributions. During his visit to Cihan University-Erbil, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research extended congratulations for the university’s commendable work and scientific projects. He expressed optimism for the continued success of Cihan University-Erbil in implementing further advancements in the realm of academia.

     The two-day conference is set to feature a multitude of scientific papers and workshops centered around the field of medicine.
