Cihan University-Erbil Participates in the Unified National International Conference for Dentistry Colleges in Iraq

On the first day of the National Conference for Dentistry Colleges in Iraq, held in Baghdad from December 13–14, 2024, under the theme “Investing in Scientific Research and Its Role in Economic Development”, a delegation from Cihan University-Erbil actively participated in various conference activities.

The delegation from Cihan University-Erbil included Dr. Qais Burhan Al-Jumaili, Dean of the College of Dentistry, along with several faculty members and students of the College of Dentistry, who took part in the conference’s events. Dr. Al-Jumaili delivered a scientific lecture as part of the academic program of the Unified National International Conference for Dentistry Colleges in Iraq and the Arab World, titled “Beyond the Layers: Deep Impacts of Indirect Restrictions.”

Additionally, the Dean of the College of Dentistry participated as a key panelist in the dialogue session of the Entrepreneurship in the Dentistry Profession Forum, held on the sidelines of the conference on the second day. Dr. Al-Jumaili also conducted several important scientific meetings with deans and experts in the field of dentistry.

On the other hand, students of the College of Dentistry from Cihan University-Erbil attended the Unified National International Conference for Dentistry Colleges in Iraq and the Arab World by participating in the academic events, including lectures and workshops held alongside the conference. The students also attended the dialogue session on entrepreneurship in the dentistry profession. Furthermore, they explored the latest materials, techniques, and equipment used in dentistry by touring the medical exhibition held in parallel with the conference, which was sponsored by several supporting companies.
