Cihan University Erbil places a great focus on students as the center of learning
To improve students’ scientific ability and familiarize them with the newest inventions, products, and scientific developments, Cihan University Erbil, unlike other universities, gives students great importance at local and international levels to participate in scientific conferences, conferences, and workshops.
Recently, a group of media students from Cihan University participated in an international conference in Saudi Arabia. The students were fully supported and facilitated by Cihan University Erbil in the areas of finance and administration so that they could effectively participate in the international conference and competition.
In this context, in the past few days, a group of students from Cihan University Erbil in Saudi Arabia participated in an international competition for the Arab Poisoning Cup (KSAPT2022). On the occasion of the competition, a science conference was held, focusing on new research, the latest development and new health inventions, and the use of progressive devices in the field of pharmacology and poisoning. The conference aimed to spread medical awareness among faculty, college, and medical students about poisoning and how to provide medical care for cases of poisoning.
During the competition, which was attended by 26 universities from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, Palestine, Bahrain, and Oman, experts and researchers who specialize in these fields presented some workshops (case studies based on similarity (SIM-store) to manage the most common cases of poisoning, treatment for drunken patients. Another aspect of the conference days was discussing strengthening relations between the participating universities, and the delegation of Cihan University Erbil held some scientific meetings with universities to achieve this goal, focusing on strengthening relationships through conferences, scientific workshops, and exchange of expertise and experience.
The competition, organized under the auspices of the Union of Arab Universities, was attended by students from Cihan University Erbil.
