Cihan University – Erbil Students Provided the First Aid Course to the Directorate of Combating Violence against Women and the Family
As a continuation of volunteer work, students from the Department of Community Health Nursing at Cihan University – Erbil conducted the First Aid course for the Directorate of Combating Violence against Women and the Family – Erbil.
The course, which was attended by officers and employees of the Directorate for Combating Violence against Women and the Family – Erbil, was presented by second-stage students (Khatt Ali and Abdul Rahman Shuaib) from the Department of Community Health Nursing.
Akhlat Ali during the course talked about bleeding, its types, and how to provide first aid to save the life of everyone who has experienced such an accident. During the second part of the speech, however, he focused on how to perform first aid, burns, and barkam.
Abdul Rahman Shuaib, later on, talked about cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest, their purposes, and the ways to save a person’s life through first aid, when someone suffers from a heart attack or respiratory arrest.
At the end of the course, Police Colonel (Safin Taher Muhammad Amin), Director of the Directorate of Combating Violence against Women and the Family – Erbil, congratulated the students of Cihan University – Erbil and expressed ‘‘Thank you for your guidance and wish you continuity’’ message.
