A lecturer from Cihan University-Erbil Runs the Asian Futsal Training Course
On Wednesday 15th of March, 2023, the Asian training course for the second level (LEVEL2) for futsal was launched in the hall of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The course is being held by the Iraqi Football Association in cooperation with the AFC. The course includes the application of the physical aspect, in addition to theoretical lectures, and twenty people are participating in it.
At the beginning, the head of the Futsal and Beach Football Committee, Ali Abdul-Hussein, delivered a speech in which he thanked those who had a role in organizing this session and he stressed that the Iraqi Football Association is keen on adopting clear visions that focus mainly on developing the technical staff in all our clubs, starting from A targeted strategy that he seeks to achieve in the near future.
Mr. Ali pointed out that the development of the technical side of the coaching staff, through the directives of the AFC, has become an imperative which we seek to deliver. He stressed the importance of holding such courses that aim to plant the basic nucleus for a real futsal industry in our beloved Iraq.
For his part, Lecturer Asst. professor (Wameth Shamil Kamil) at Cihan University- Erbil, in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, appreciated the chairman and members of the Futsal and Beach Committee, for their great role in the success of the game of futsal. Lecturer Wameth also thanked the Iraqi and Asian federations for holding such courses which will have a significant impact on developing the Iraqi coach, increasing his technical information, and getting acquainted with the latest modifications to the game.
The Asian Futsal training course which will be held in Baghdad from 15/3/2023 to 21/3/2023, In order to give lectures in the Asian training course (Level 2) for coaches. The course is hosted by the Central Football Association / Futsal and Beach Committee, and the course includes theoretical and practical lectures on modern training methods through a special program from the Asian Federation, noting that (20) coaches from different governorates of the country are participating in it.
