Cihan University – Erbil Support the Participation of its Distinguished Students
As part of its commitment to supporting students and encouraging their participation in leadership and development programs, Cihan University – Erbil acknowledges the participation of Tayba Ghazi from the Department of Anesthesia and Tabarak Hussein from the Department of Interior Design in the Youth Leadership Program. The program is organized by the University of Sharjah in collaboration with the Association of Arab Universities and brings together a distinguished group of outstanding students from various Arab universities.
The program aims to empower students by developing their leadership abilities and enhancing their skills in strategic planning, entrepreneurship, team management, and innovative thinking.
The program officially commenced on Monday, February 17, 2025, featuring a series of lectures and workshops conducted by renowned experts and academics, including:
✅ “Leadership Skills Necessary for Character Building” – Presented by Prof. Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Director of the Leadership Preparation Institute in Egypt. The session emphasized the importance of leadership in shaping students’ personalities and boosting their self-confidence.
✅ “Entrepreneurship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” – Delivered by Dr. Amal Al Ali from the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of Sharjah. The lecture explored modern trends in entrepreneurship and examined the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on the development of startup businesses.
✅ “Strategic Planning and Team Building” – Conducted by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, Deputy Director of the Leadership Preparation Institute in Egypt. The session highlighted the importance of strategic planning in achieving goals and explained how to build and manage successful teams.
The program is not limited to theoretical lectures but also includes interactive and practical activities. Students participate in art exhibition visits to enhance their cultural and creative awareness, as well as sports activities designed to foster teamwork and strengthen collaboration skills.
This four-day training program provides students with opportunities to apply their leadership skills in real-world scenarios through interactive workshops and case studies. Additionally, the program serves as a platform for students from different Arab countries to exchange ideas and experiences, fostering a spirit of cooperation and communication among Arab youth.
