Cihan University-Erbil Tops British Times Ranking for Private Universities in Kurdistan Region and Iraq

In a comprehensive ranking of universities across Arab countries, encompassing Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, Cihan University-Erbil stands out as the foremost among all private universities in both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

     The Times Higher Education-Arab University Rankings for the year 2023 were unveiled on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Remarkably, Cihan University-Erbil claimed the first spot among all private universities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. Furthermore, it secured an impressive second position when considering both public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region.

     This notable achievement can be attributed to the unwavering dedication and hard work of the university’s researchers and academic staff.
