Cihan University-Erbil was felicitated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) congratulates Cihan University-Erbil on becoming a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU).
In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in a letter No. 8213, signed on May 5th, 2023 by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussein, Head of the Supervision and Quality Assurance, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research praised Cihan University-Erbil. The letter was sent to the office of Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil.
In the letter, it is written: “Our ministry congratulates you on the University’s membership in the International Association of Universities (IAU). We hope you continue your efforts to promote the University at the local and international levels,”.
On April 17th, 2023, the International Association of Universities (IAU) awarded a certificate of membership to Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, president of Cihan University-Erbil signed by Hilligje van’t Land, Secretary General of the International Association of Universities (IAU). It is stated in the certificate from 2023, Cihan University-Erbil, Iraq has become a full and active member of the International Association of Universities.
