College of Dentistry Students Participate in DENTOVATE 2026 Scientific Seminar on Endodontic Failures

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, a group of second- and fifth-stage students from the College of Dentistry at Cihan University–Erbil participated in a scientific seminar entitled “Avoiding Endodontic Failures: Common Mistakes and How to Prevent Them.”

The seminar was organized by Advanced Dent as part of DENTOVATE 2026, sponsored by SNOW, and presented by Lecturer Razan Burhanalddin Muhamad.

The seminar addressed common errors in root canal treatment, including access cavity preparation, missed canals, inaccurate working length determination, instrument separation, canal perforation, inadequate irrigation, and errors in root canal obturation.

 It also highlighted preventive strategies, effective disinfection, and proper clinical techniques to improve treatment success and achieve better long-term patient outcomes.

At the end of the seminar, four students from the College of Dentistry received complimentary gifts in recognition of their participation.
