DESCRIPTION
A medical laboratory scientist analyzes a wide range of biological material. They are in charge of doing scientific tests on samples and communicating the results to physicians. It uses expensive technology such as microscopes, Hematology Analyzers, chemistry Analyzers, Immunoassay Analyzers Histology and Cytology equipment , to perform complex tests on patient samples.
VISION
Our vision is to make the Department of Medical Laboratory Analysis a leading department in both Iraqi and Kurdistan universities to graduate professionals in the Department of Medical Laboratory Analysis with enough scientific skills to be able to provide high quality services in medical diagnosis and research laboratories
MISSION
The program is intended to provide graduates with knowledge, abilities, and good practices in medical laboratory investigations. They will be prepared to serve people, communities, and research centers. The program of the Department of Medical Laboratory Analysis provides a learning environment in which students can get necessary qualifications as laboratory workers. Moreover, the students will be fully prepared to diagnose diseases professionally with the help of exceptional training in language, awareness, and medical skills.
