Community Health Students Offer Various Scientific Seminar’s

On 27 April 2022, first-year students from the Community Health Department of Cihan University – Erbil delivered their oral presentations outside the classroom at the VIP Hall (Building 4).This activity was organized by Ms. Zeena Mahmood as part of the Academic English course taught by her in the current semester. It was attended by the Head of the department, A.L. Sarwan Wasman Hamad.

 In this assessment-based activity, Mr. Sarwan Wasman Hamad assessed the students’ oral presentations delivered to him. All presentation topics were assigned to each group by Ms. Zeena. The objectives of this event were to improve the students’ oral presentation skills and to provide them the opportunity to practice speaking English as well as thinking critically outside the classroom.

  Each group received questions posed by Mr. Sarwan Wasman Hamad as well as their classmates during the Question-and-Answer session. The students were able to answer the questions asked. Each group’s performance ended with compliments and immediate feedback given by Mr. Sarwan Wasman Hamad.

The students participated actively in this interesting activity and it was a great experience for them.
