THE PHYSIOTHERAPY DEPARTMENT ORGANIZED A FIELD VISIT TO HOME CARE FOR THE ELDERLY INFIRM

On 28 April 2022, the Physiotherapy Department organized a field visit for its fourth-stage students to the home care for the elderly infirm. The visit has been supervised by Dr. Tanya Salem Saleh.

           The visit included a meeting with the elderly in the home and examining them clinically to see the diseases they suffer from and which can be treated through physiotherapy techniques. In addition to that, providing correct instructions and exercises that can relieve back and neck pain that most of the elderly suffer from and training the workers in the home to apply them to help the elderly in the future.

           Such field visits are important for fourth-stage in terms of developing their spirit of help and spreading it in the community and providing them with psychological support.
