Department of Architectural Engineering Students Conduct a Scientific Visit to Pavilion

On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, second-year students from the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a scientific field visit to Pavilion by Rams in Erbil. The visit was supervised by Lecturer Asmaa Ahmed Mustafa.

The students were warmly received by Mr. Alan Abdulqader Saed and Mr. Mustafa Sabr Qadir, the site engineer at Pavilion by Rams.

During the visit, Mr. Mustafa introduced the students to different villa designs and explained the architectural features and details of the project.

He provided practical insights into the villas’ functional organization, spatial arrangement, circulation systems, structural techniques, and selection of construction materials. He also explained the use of modern construction techniques and materials in the project.

Furthermore, the students examined the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, landscape design, and the organization of public and semi-public areas.

 These observations helped them understand how functional requirements, environmental conditions, and aesthetic considerations influence residential architectural design.
