On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, as part of its academic and practical activities, students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil visited Deravan Motors, the official dealer of Al-Mansour Automotive Company, which represents internationally recognised automotive brands such as Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC.
The academic visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qader. Upon their arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Azhy Sware Najmaddin, Sales Department Manager at Deravan Motors.
At the beginning of the visit, Mr. Kaiwan Ahmed Kurdi, Service Department Manager, provided the students with an overview of the company’s operations. He explained that the company’s main branch is located in Erbil, with additional branches in Sulaymaniyah and Duhok. He also highlighted the company’s commitment to maintaining international standards to ensure that vehicles supplied to markets in the Kurdistan Region meet the highest quality standards.
Furthermore, he explained the company’s sales policy, noting that vehicles are sold on a cash basis. Each vehicle comes with a five-year warranty and five years of free maintenance services. The company also offers special discounts to its employees when purchasing vehicles.
During the visit, the students learned that the company deals exclusively in brand-new vehicles. They then toured the service and maintenance department, where they were introduced to two important services: Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), a technique used to remove dents without damaging the vehicle’s original paint, and Paint Protection Film (PPF), a special protective film applied to vehicles to safeguard their exterior surfaces.
At the end of the visit, the supervising lecturer and the students expressed their gratitude to the staff of Deravan Motors for their warm welcome and for providing them with this valuable learning opportunity.
