Department of Graphic Design Students Conduct a Cancer Awareness Campaign at Gulan Mall

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, third-year students from the Department of Graphic Design at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a cancer awareness campaign at Gulan Mall in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Saja Abdul Hadi Hafiz.

During the campaign, the students explored suitable ideas and developed messages focusing on cancer prevention and early detection.

 They carefully selected visual elements, colours, and fonts, arranging text and images to ensure clarity, readability, and an effective presentation of information. They then finalised their designs and prepared the materials for distribution.

The campaign concluded with the students distributing the awareness materials to visitors and explaining the messages conveyed through their designs.

 By participating in every stage of the campaign, from developing concepts and producing materials to engaging with the public, the students applied their graphic design skills to promote cancer awareness and encourage greater attention to prevention and early detection.
